Diet
You will be served a light, but satisfying, diet consisting of organic fruits, vegetables, fresh juices, grains and legumes which allow your body to cleanse while providing valuable nutrients for rebuilding. The diet is programmed according to your Ayurvedic body type and needs. These vegetable juices contain fresh extracts of special herbs like fennel, parsley, ginger, cilantro, etc.
Guided fasting available when appropriate.

Herbal Medicine
Specific herbs are administered to cleanse and rebuild a different organ each day. Herbs are powerful allies for rejuvenation. Our kitchen apothecary has over 100 herbs on hand.

Massage
You will receive daily Indian massage by two practitioners working together. Medicated essential oil blends are made for you according to your constitutional body type. Marma point therapy balances the nervous system and the soothing massage stroking dissolves holding patterns which can cause aging. Aromatherapy is a recent addition to traditional herbal extracts.

Shirodhara and Medicated Oil Therapy
Focused streaming of special oils onto the forehead produces an exquisite state of transcendence, bringing balance to your emotions and mind. Patients sometimes experience lucid dreaming, past-life remembrances, or samadhi-meditative states. Special nose and ear drops penetrate and stimulate your nervous system, awakening psychic centers.

Colon Cleansing (Basti)
Cleansing of the intestinal track with herbal teas, and oils removes accumulated toxins, freeing the immune system so that rejuvenation can take place. Many natural doctors feel the colon is the source of many illnesses.

Purgation Therapy (Virechan)
This brings about cleansing of accumulated toxins in your upper digestive track which cannot be reached by basti. By the judicious use of herbs your digestive fire is released, thereby increasing your metabolic efficiency.

Medicated Oil Steam Sauna w/ Scalp Massage (Swedhana) Sweating opens the channels of elimination through your skin. You will experience the ancient technique of applying warm medicated oils to your head while relaxing in a steam cabinet.  This heightens awareness while relaxing your body.  Essential oils permeate the steam, your breath
and your body to create a feeling of blissful relaxation. 

Tarpana (Forgiveness Ritual)
Using ancient breathing techniques, you are guided into a connected state for the release of ancestral patterns, held emotions, and the healing of unresolved relationships. Our thoughts about others and ourselves can age us. This ceremony gives you the opportunity to be free of limitation and turn back the clock.

Yoga and Meditation
Daily yoga, meditation, and walking on the beach. Your body becomes supple, your mind centered, and your muscular system activated to the smell of salt air and the sounds of seagulls and ocean waves.
